The Man’s Phases

January 16 - March 3, 2021

The Man’s Phases” exhibition is a meeting point where the art of Attasit Pokpong, Narakorn Sittites and Uttaporn Nimmalaikaew converges at the philosophical level.  The three outstanding Thai painters have steadily risen to the forefront of the national art scene,

Known for their mastery in figurative painting, in The Man’s Phases exhibition, all three artists examine the laws of nature by drawing a metaphorical observation between our lives and the nature of the moon.  We are peripheral to others in the same way that the moon is peripheral to the earth.  We all seek light to illuminate ourselves and so does the moon.  We rotate our thoughts around ourselves and others as the moon rotates on its axis and orbits around the earth.

The artists reflect that how we define ourselves might be completely different from how others define us.  Each person owes it to themselves to seek the answer to peace within their inner self.

The artwork by each artist in the exhibition The Man’s Phases shines a different light on the idea of life.  One discusses fragility of hope while another artist attempts to define the meaning of life and the other artist presents idealistic beauty.  Each of the three artist operates within his own rotation circle while gravitating towards one another to achieve the story telling.
