BIOGRAPHY
Porntawee Papim was born in 1980. He earned a Higher Vocational Certificate (Vocational Certificate Diploma: VCD) in Fine and Applied Arts from Ayutthaya Polytechnic College, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya.
Porntawee received flameworking and glassblowing training at Bang Sai Arts and Crafts Centre in 2009 and subsequently began producing and showcasing his artwork.
Porntawee’s skills and contribution to the field of flameworking glass art was well recognized. He was appointed as an assistant instructor to teach flameworking and glassblowing techniques to trainees. He held this position for 15 years, from 2009 to 2023. Currently, Porntawee is a flameworking glass artist under BGC Glass Studio.
