<p class=”cvGsUA direction-ltr align-justify para-style-body”><span class=”a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none”>Tiny buds burst forth from the trunk. Gradually, coiled sprouts unfurl and expand into leaves. Long branches reach outwards and bloom with flowers, which become ripening fruit, before withering, wasting away and decaying. It changes form constantly as a result of certain factors, time and age. Humans beings can perceive the unfolding of all forms of life in their environment, and absorb and hone an awareness of their beauty and essential nature, by making art. Doing so deepens our understanding of the shared nature of humans and trees. There is a relationship between observing nature and understanding who we are, because to know nature is to know ourselves.</span></p>
<p class=”cvGsUA direction-ltr align-justify para-style-body”><span class=”a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none”>Living simply, spending time with myself and my family, doing housekeeping, cooking and planting trees, while practicing mindfulness by creating- from within these horizons, my art practice unfolds. I chronicle my impressions of the trees, stationary forms and the landscape as an observer of nature’s constant becoming, translated into brushstrokes that capture their beauty and innate nature. Observing the relationship between myself and nature heightens my awareness of the value of being alive, which is foundational to my way of thinking, and has taught me to not to be careless, but to live mindfully with greater sensitivity to my surroundings.</span></p>
