Tell the Tales

Punyisa presents her creation consisting of small and medium sized three-dimensional wood assemblages. The artist is fascinated with the mechanic of using hinges as the pivotal elements in constructing her sculptures. Small pieces of wood are cleverly connected with several hinges to create artwork that resemble objects we know from the past. Punyisa searches reclaimed wood from floor board and wall panels of dismantled homes consequently her artwork evokes sentimental yearing of old times.
